Ethan Garber has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Ethan is currently the Managing Director at Imperial Capital, LLC since February 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Founder and CEO of Convoy Solutions, dba IdleAir, a company that provided stationary HVAC and EV equipped parking spaces for commercial vehicles. Under their leadership, IdleAir served 40,000 truck drivers and over 800 long-haul fleets, assisting them in achieving their fuel saving and emission reduction goals.

Before establishing IdleAir, Ethan worked as a Senior Derivative Claims Negotiator at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. from 2008 to 2010. Ethan also served as a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns from 2005 to 2008, where they co-managed a $1 billion internal book of various investment positions, achieving successful restructurings.

Prior to Bear Stearns, Ethan worked as a Director at Credit Suisse from 2001 to 2005, where they co-managed a $1 billion internal portfolio in credit derivatives. Ethan identified and invested in turnaround loan-centric opportunities, contributing to the success of investments in companies such as Carmike Cinemas, Sprint Wireless affiliates, and Tricom (DR).

Ethan's career started at Lehman Brothers, where they worked as a VP and Senior Distressed Debt Research Analyst from 1999 to 2001. During this time, they focused on the distressed telecom sector and gained recognition as an Institutional Investor distressed credit All Star in 2000.

Before joining Lehman Brothers, Ethan began their professional journey as an Analyst at Jefferies & Company and later worked as an Associate in the Workout Group at The Chase Manhattan Bank.
