Kirsty M. has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design. Kirsty started their career as a Press Assistant at the Royal Academy of Arts in 2009 and worked there until 2011. Kirsty then worked as a Graphic Designer at Igloo London from 2012 to 2014. After that, they joined Make Architects as a Graphic Designer from 2014 to 2016. Following their tenure at Make Architects, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Kirsty M. is employed by the Imperial War Museums, where they started as a Graphic Designer in 2018 and was later promoted to the position of Lead Graphic Designer in June 2023.
Kirsty M. has a diverse education history. In 2003, they enrolled at The University of Manchester, where they pursued a joint honours degree in English and Philosophy. Kirsty completed their undergraduate studies in 2006.
In 2009, Kirsty attended Shillington College, where they focused on Graphic Design. This period concluded in 2010, although they did not attain a specific degree.
Moving forward to 2014, Kirsty took two short courses at the University of the Arts London. The first course was in Event Design, and the second in Experience Design. Both courses were completed within the same year.
Lastly, in 2016, Kirsty attended a short course at the V&A Museum, where they specialized in Accessible Gallery Interpretation.
