David Dzenitis

David Dzenitis has a diverse and extensive work experience. David is currently working at Impinj as the Director of Software Development Engineering since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Software Development Manager from July 2019 to October 2021, and Software Development Manager from September 2013 to July 2019 also at Impinj.

Before joining Impinj, David worked at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) from August 2011 to July 2013. David also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida in 2010 and as a Summer Intern at the Air Force Research Laboratory in the same year.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Software Developer at Parature Inc. from July 2007 to July 2009, as an Internal Systems Developer at DS3 DataVaulting LLC from December 2005 to June 2007, and as a Test and Diagnostic Software Intern at Fujitsu-Siemens GmbH from September 2004 to September 2005.

David's career started at Celera Genomics where they worked as an Assistant Web Engineer from June 2000 to August 2002.

David Dzenitis received their B.S. degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. In 2002, they also had a study abroad experience in Electrical and Computer Engineering at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Later, they pursued a M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida, where they studied from 2009 to 2011.
