Philipp Groß is currently the Head of Production at Implandata Ophthalmic Products. Prior to this, they worked as the Associate Manager Mechanical Production Engineering at Cortronik GmbH from April 2016 to February 2021. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of production engineers and technicians, as well as managing resources and budgets. Philipp also implemented Lean methods and assisted with yield management. From February 2014 to August 2014, Philipp Groß completed a Bachelor's thesis on drug testing with controlled saliva samples using indicators. Additionally, they researched new reagents and assisted with lab work. During their praxissemester from September 2012 to February 2013, they worked on validating breathing masks, measuring particle filters and filter materials, optimizing test benches, and porting data acquisition systems to Windows 7.
Philipp Groß has a Master of Science in Biomedizintechnik/Medizintechnik from Technische Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Science in Medizininformatik & Biomedizinische Technik from Hochschule Stralsund. Philipp also has certification from BIOTRONIK in High Impact Communication, TÜV SÜD in Prozessvalidierung im Bereich Medizinprodukte, BIOTRONIK in Kommunikations- und Gesprächstraining, BIOTRONIK in Projektmanagement: Methoden & Instrumente, and GFQ Akademie GmbH in SPC - Statistical Process Control.
They are on a team with Miganoosh Abramian - Senior Engineer R&D and Regulatory Affairs, Timo Wunsch - Junior Engineer R&D, and Mareen Melisch - Clinical Study Manager. Their manager is Max G. Ostermeier, Co-founder & Managing Director.
