Bornwell Nyathi

Bornwell Nyathi is a Solar Design Engineer at IMPOWER PTY LTD since May 2023, specializing in the design of PV systems to optimize energy production, utilizing tools such as Helioscope and PVSyst. Previously, as a Solar Engineer at Pristine Sustainable Energy from January 2021 to April 2023, Bornwell conducted research, designed, and installed solar power systems, achieving a 90% success rate on over 30 projects. Prior to this, an Electrical Engineering Intern at Bulawayo City Council from August 2018 to July 2019, Bornwell managed electrical faults and designed a 250KW solar system, enhancing system efficiency through data analysis. Bornwell's early experience includes teaching science at Lubangwe Secondary School in 2015. Bornwell holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honours degree in Electronic Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology, obtained in 2020.
