Agustín Tonet has worked in a variety of roles in the digital media field since 2010. From 2010-2017, they worked as a Digital Media Manager at FOPEA, where they managed social media strategy and led the first and second Digital Journalism Congress. From 2013-2014, they were a Digital Newsroom Editor at Revista Ciudad Nueva, managing a newsroom of 5 journalists and launching a website redesign. From 2014-2017, they were an Audience Development Editor and Social Media Editor at Artear Todo Noticias, where they managed audience growth strategy, monitored social media strategy, and trained journalists on social media guidelines. From 2017-2021, they worked as a Docente Titular de Periodismo Digital at ENACOM Instituto Superior de Enseñanza Radiofónica (ISER) and as a Docente titular de Ciberculturas y Periodismo Digital at Universidad Abierta Interamericana. From 2017-2021, they were also a Digital Journalism Coach at FOPEA - Foro de Periodismo Argentino. In 2020, they were a Social Media & Audience Development Strategy Consultant at SembraMedia, where they coached the Editor-in-chief and Social Media team on strategies to increase reader engagement and diversify traffic sources. In 2021, they became an Audience Development Manager at Impremedia.
Agustín Tonet obtained a Licenciatura en Comunicación Social from Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires in 2010. Agustín also holds a Certificado de asistencia from SEOday, obtained in May 2022.
