Mohamed Mohamed, PhD, CEng, MIMechE, FISME, is a Principal Technical Specialist in Simulation and Modelling at Impression Technologies Ltd since June 2017, where also serves as a Principal Research and Development Engineer. Prior to this role, Mohamed was the Process Modelling Team Leader and Research Fellow at the Advanced Forming Research Centre, University of Strathclyde from May 2015 to May 2017, and a Research Associate at Imperial College London from January 2014 to May 2015. Mohamed's academic career includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Helwan University from August 2012 to January 2014, and held various research positions at Imperial College London from July 2010 to August 2012. Mohamed earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering focusing on Metal Forming and Material Modeling from Imperial College London (2007-2010) and a Master's Degree in Production Engineering from Helwan University, Cairo (2000-2003).
