Zachary Chen

Zachary Chen has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Sales Associate role at Gap Inc. in 2008. Zachary then held a Marketing - Brand Development Intern role at Branded Spirits Limited in the same year. In 2011, they were a Marketing Intern at Crossmark Asia Pacific, followed by a CMO role at Vento Solutions. In 2012, they became an SEO Specialist at WebSight Design, Inc. In 2013, they founded Impressions Holdings LLC, which is now Impress3 Media, and grew it from a $5k Bootstrap investment into the #20 Fastest Growing Software business in 4 years. Zachary also founded Local PhD in 2014. In 2019, they acquired SFist from WNYC (through Impress3 Media Inc.), grew SFist's newsroom every year, and guided SFist revenue growth by 2. Zachary currently holds the role of CEO at both Impress3 Media and SFist LLC.

Zachary Chen attended the Questrom School of Business at Boston University from 2008 to 2011, where they studied Management & Business Administration. Zachary also attended the College of Marin from 2006 to 2007.
