April Olt

April Olt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in content development, talent management, and theatrical direction. As the Senior Director of Content and Talent at ImprovEdge since July 2007, April focuses on innovative business training that leverages improvisation. Previous roles include Artistic Director and Theatre Director for Grandview Heights Schools, where April managed theatrical productions, and Instructor at Columbus Children's Theatre, designing and teaching various classes. April has also directed children’s and youth ministries at King Avenue United Methodist Church, significantly expanding program participation and implementing various community outreach initiatives. With a strong background in theater direction, including productions at Wagnalls Memorial Library and Curtain Players Theatre, April's educational credentials include an MFA in Directing/Dramaturgy from Roosevelt University and a BFA in Theatre Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University.
