Colleen Yee

Colleen Yee has a strong background in talent acquisition and human resources. Colleen is currently working as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Improving. Before that, they held the same role at Bit Quill Technologies. Colleen also worked as a Human Resources Assistant at Make a Future - Careers in BC Education. Prior to that, they gained experience in recruitment and talent acquisition as a Recruitment Associate at Vancouver Coastal Health and as a Talent Acquisition Associate at Provincial Health Services Authority. Colleen began their career as a Business Analyst Co-op Student at TELUS, where they completed two co-op terms. In addition, they have experience as a Cake Maker/Decorator at Dairy Queen.

Colleen Yee completed their high school education from Ideal Mini School, receiving a high school diploma between the years 2007 and 2011. Afterward, they pursued higher education at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. From 2011 to 2017, Colleen obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a minor in English. Their fields of study included Human Resources Management and English Literature. Additionally, Colleen has acquired several certifications, including "Leading Productive Meetings" from LinkedIn in November 2022 and various other certifications in areas such as neurodiversity in the workplace, recruiting diverse talent, sales objection handling, and technical recruiting, all obtained from LinkedIn.
