Guillermo Ferro

Guillermo Ferro has a diverse work experience in the field of SAP and BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation). Guillermo started their career at Ingenio Soluciones Informaticas Ltda. in 2005 as a Junior Consultant, where they worked on the implementation of BPC 7.0 NW Planning for Cartones America S.A. Guillermo later became an EPM SAP BW/BPC Lead Technical Consultant at the same company, leading various BPC implementation projects, including BPC 7.5 NW Planning for Cartones America S.A. and BPC 10 NW Planning for Nutresa Group.

In 2012, Ferro joined Intellego Colombia as a SAP BPC Project Leader, where they led projects in BPC implementation. Guillermo then moved to LatCapital Solutions in 2013, working as a Lead BPC Consultant. At LatCapital Solutions, they had a leadership role in BPC consulting.

In 2014, Ferro joined SAP as a Senior BPC Consultant, working on BPC projects for various clients. Guillermo later took on the role of Interim LoB Finance, Financial Close & Planning and Analysis – Latin America Head, where they managed a team of 24 people and was responsible for EPM tools and finance solutions for the Latin America region. Guillermo also held the position of LAC Lead Architect and BPC Latin America Planning Champion at SAP, where they focused on commercial opportunities and project escalations for Colombia, Central America, and the Caribbean.

More recently, Ferro joined Jump Analytics Inc in 2022 as an SAP Planning and Consolidation Architect. Currently, they are working at Improving as an SAP Lead Architect for Planning.

Guillermo Ferro obtained their education from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they studied from 2005 to 2010 and received a degree in Ingeniero de Sistemas. Prior to this, they attended Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario from 1993 to 2004 and successfully completed their Bachiller degree. In addition to their formal education, Guillermo Ferro has also obtained certifications from SAP, including the "SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.1 and 11.0" in September 2020, and the "SAP Business Planning And Consolidation 10 (C_EPMBPC_10)" in September 2013.
