Miguel Zarate

Miguel Zarate has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Miguel currently works as a Full Stack Engineer at Improving since 2022. Prior to that, they worked for Citi from 2016 to 2022 as a Team leader, where they were responsible for fixing bugs, migrating systems, implementing microservices, refactoring stored procedures, and implementing test cases. Miguel used technologies such as Silverlight, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, SQL Server 2016, Web API, Entity Framework, C#, and LINQ during their time at Citi.

Before Citi, Miguel worked as a Sr. Net Programmer at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from 2013 to 2016. At CS-America from 2012 to 2013, they served as an Architect and Sr. Programmer, working with technologies like Silverlight, WPF, MVC 4, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008, and WCF Services. Miguel also held the position of .NET Team Leader at CONAGUA from 2010 to 2011.

In their earlier career, Miguel worked as a Software Developer at MonaVie from 2007 to 2010, where they participated in all aspects of software development using the .NET Framework 3. Miguel gained experience as a Development Team Leader at Azteca Bank from 2006 to 2007, focusing on the design and implementation of an intranet reporting system. Lastly, they served as Subdirector de software educativo at ILCE from 2003 to 2006.

Throughout their career, Miguel has developed expertise in a wide range of technologies and has taken on various leadership and programming roles in different organizations.

Miguel Zarate completed their Maestria degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 1995 to 2000. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" from Microsoft in March 2022, "Learning Azure Management Tools" from LinkedIn in January 2020, "MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional" from Microsoft in October 2015, and "MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3" from Microsoft in October 2015.
