Fred McCathorine

Fred McCathorine is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering, project management, and community service. As the President of Impyrian Energy since March 2017, Fred leads a company that specializes in engineering, project and construction management, and consulting within the energy and utility sectors. From 1995 to 2017, Fred served as the Director of Operations for Veolia Energy Baltimore, managing extensive district energy systems and overseeing operations, maintenance, and budgeting processes. Additionally, Fred has dedicated time to community engagement as the Program Director for Crusader Nation Basketball, which focuses on using basketball to empower youth and foster community understanding. Fred holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Hampton University, obtained between 1971 and 1975.
