Richard Weir

Richard Weir is an experienced professional in global strategy and international business development, currently serving as Vice President of Global Strategy and Government Relations, as well as Vice President of International Business Development at IMSAR since July 2022. Weir has a strong background in various leadership roles, including Board Member positions at the Japan-America Society of Washington DC and the US-Taiwan Business Council, and notable experience at Northrop Grumman, where responsibilities included Director of International Policy and Campaigns in Aerospace. Weir led defense initiatives as Chair of the Defense Committee for the U.S.-India Business Council and held key positions at The Joint Staff and the US Air Force, focusing on Japan and Northeast Asia. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Military Operational Arts and Sciences from Air University, a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Math from Weber State University.
