Joel S. Pachter

Professor of Department of Cell Biology University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Pachter is an expert in the neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases fields such as multiple sclerosis. His lab is specialized in using Laser capture microdissection-based technology to study the blood-brain barrier (BBB) of the central nerve system (CNS). Dr. Pachter is also a collaborator of ImStem on the company's CT stem cell grant focusing on the mechanisms of T-MSC in treating multiple sclerosis.
