Nicolas Mollet

Nicolas Mollet has worked in a variety of roles in the XR/VR/AR industry since 2001. From 2001 to 2007, they were a Researcher and Team Leader at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Researcher, Workpackage Leader at Technicolor. From 2011 to 2019, they were a Principal Scientist - Technical Leader and a Senior Scientist - Technology Area Leader at Technicolor. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Principal Scientist - Technical Area Leader at Interdigital. In 2022, they will become the Managing Director of the French division of Imverse. Throughout their career, they have focused on embodiment and explored XR in various contexts.

Nicolas Mollet obtained their Master1 in Computer Science from Université de Rennes1 in 1996-2000. Nicolas then went on to obtain their Master2 in Computer Science from IMT Atlantique in 2000-2001. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Virtual Reality for Training from Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rennes in 2001-2005.
