Jenny Kavaluskis

Jenny Kavaluskis is an experienced special education teacher currently employed at the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District since June 2016, where responsibilities include creating and implementing instructional and behavioral supports for elementary students with severe cognitive impairments and other developmental delays. Previously, Jenny provided educational instruction and support to middle school students with severe cognitive impairments and autism spectrum disorder. Additionally, Jenny has worked as a special needs caregiver for a four-year-old with autism and other developmental delays, focusing on implementing therapeutic techniques. Prior experience includes serving as a developmental care specialist at Wedgwood Christian Services, where Jenny used Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques for teens with severe autism and developmental delays. Jenny earned a degree in Special Education from Grand Valley State University between 2011 and 2016, and attended Jenison High School from 2004 to 2007.
