Mat Hollingworth

Mat Hollingworth began their work experience in 2012 as a Research Scientist at Medtrade Products Limited, where they focused on advanced woundcare dressings and the development of new super-absorbent dressing products. In 2015, they joined the University of Nottingham as a PhD Researcher, specializing in bone biology and the differentiation of osteoblasts from stem cell sources. Mat completed their PhD in 2018 and then volunteered at Versus Arthritis as a Research Liaison Placement, communicating research outcomes and producing reports on current research. In 2019, Mat worked as a Product Development Scientist at 3M, contributing to the development and registration of drug products. Concurrently, they also held the position of Research Liaison Officer at Versus Arthritis, where they produced engaging content about arthritis research for internal and external audiences. Currently, Mat is an Account Manager (Discover) at IN-PART, utilizing their skills in research communication and engagement.

Mat Hollingworth obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Materials Science WIE from The University of Manchester, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham, completing their studies between 2015 and 2018.
