Abirami Sivananthan

Abirami Sivananthan serves as Vice President of Technology at In-Q-Tel since May 2020, previously holding the position of Senior Lead Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton from July 2014 to May 2020, where responsibilities included consulting as a technical advisor to DARPA program managers on research and development programs in microelectronics and semiconductor devices. Abirami also worked as a Fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives, providing scientific policy advice for Congressman Bill Foster, and gained research experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCSB, focusing on MOCVD growth and fabrication of photonic integrated circuits. Abirami earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics and Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
