Jessica has held positions at organizations such as In-Q-Tel, Oxford University Press, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and USDA-ARS. Their roles have ranged from Research Associate to Chief Scientist and Vice President, showcasing their expertise in the field.

Jessica Dymond completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2004. Jessica then pursued their PhD in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2011. In 2023, they obtained a certification from VC University.
