Randy Barker

Randy Barker started their work experience in 2000 as the Manager of Retail Marketing at Agricore United. Randy then became the Director of Crop Protection Business before moving on to Monsanto in 2005, where they served as the Vice President of Crop Protection for Canada. At Monsanto, they held various roles such as Global Seed Treatment Business Lead, Seed & Traits Business Lead, Global Commercial Director for Roundup Ready Plus Solutions, and Global Customer Experience Director. Randy joined FarmLink in 2014 as the Managing Director and later co-founded INTENT in 2016, where they currently serve as the CEO. Additionally, Barker is the Chairperson of the Board at Computomics since 2023 and a Member of the Board of Directors at Lucent BioSciences Inc. since 2021.

Randy Barker attended The University of Lethbridge from 1997 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics. Following this, from 1999 to 2001, they enrolled at the University of Guelph and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Agri-Business.
