Tony Gades

Tony Gades, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of medical technology. Tony currently serves as the Director of Clinical Science, Advanced Development at Inari Medical since March 2021. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at Philips, where they held various roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, they were the Principal User Experience Architect for Ultrasound, and previously served as the Director of Clinical Science for Point of Care Ultrasound. Tony also worked as a Clinical Scientist and a System Engineer for Highly Integrated Ultrasound Products at Philips. Before joining Philips, Tony worked as an Ultrasound System Design Engineer at SonoSite, and as an Ultrasound Signal Path Design Engineer at Philips Medical Systems. Tony Gades, PhD, has an extensive education history in the field of geophysics. Tony pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics & Mathematics, which they completed from St. Olaf College between 1987 and 1991. Subsequently, they attended the University of Washington from 1991 to 1998, where they obtained their PhD in Geophysics.
