Jaana Seipiharju

Jaana Seipiharju is a seasoned educator and leader in the fields of business and entrepreneurship, currently serving as a Lecturer at the Sámi Education Institute since August 2015. In addition, Jaana has held multiple roles in municipal governance such as a Municipal Councilor for Inari from 2017 to 2021 and currently for 2021-2025. Jaana's extensive experience includes positions as Development Coordinator at Inari Municipal Business & Development Nordica, Executive Manager at Kalottikeskus - Calotte Center, and Managing Director at Inari Municipal Economic Development Company. Jaana's earlier career features a significant role as Customer Service Manager at Sámi musea Siida. An accomplished academic, Jaana has earned a Master’s Degree in Tourism Research from the University of Lapland and several vocational qualifications, including in entrepreneurship and pedagogical training.
