Tommi Kasurinen

Tommi Kasurinen is the current Mayor of Inari, having assumed the position in January 2023. Prior to this role, Tommi held multiple senior leadership positions at Kesko - K-Group from 2015 to 2019, including Senior Vice President overseeing various aspects of Building and Technical Trade across several countries. Tommi's extensive experience also includes serving as Vice President at Rautakesko Oy and in other leadership roles managing finance, strategy, and operations across Finland, Russia, Sweden, Norway, and the Baltic states. Earlier in Tommi's career, roles included Finance Director positions at Byggmakker and Ruokakesko Oy, alongside academic contributions at the Helsinki School of Economics as a lecturer and business controller. Tommi holds both a Doctor of Science and a Master of Science in Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics.
