Maria Oikonomidou

Maria Oikonomidou's work experience includes a role as a Data Scientist & Engineer Team Lead and Data Scientist & Engineer at inbestMe from December 2021 to present and January 2023 to present, respectively. Prior to that, they worked at ICS-FORTH as a Research Affiliate from December 2021 to October 2022, a Graduate Research Assistant from November 2019 to December 2021, and a Research And Development Engineer from October 2018 to October 2019. Maria also had a role as a Data Scientist at inbestMe from June 2021 to September 2021. Additionally, they gained experience as an Undergraduate Trainee at ICS-FORTH from June 2017 to July 2018.

Maria Oikonomidou completed their education at the University of Crete, Department of Computer Science. Maria obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 2012 to 2018. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) from 2019 to 2021, specializing in Parallel and Distributed Systems, Algorithms, and Systems Analysis. Prior to their university education, Maria attended the Xenopoulos Private Senior High School of Athens, Greece, where they obtained a Greece National Degree between 2006 and 2012.
