Elise Guimaraes

Elise Guimaraes has a diverse and extensive work experience. Elise is currently working as a Software Engineer at IncQuery. Prior to this, they worked at Rock Content, where they held the roles of Data Engineer and Strategy Consultant | Product Manager. As a Data Engineer, they built a data platform using various technologies such as Python, AWS Lambdas, and AWS S3. In their role as a Strategy Consultant | Product Manager, they supported M&A operations and the internationalization of the company.

Before their time at Rock Content, Elise was the Head of Growth at Allugator, where they were responsible for growth-related processes and adopted an agile approach to product marketing. Elise also worked as a Growth Marketer, developing marketing and product strategies.

Additionally, Elise has experience in management consulting, having worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company. Elise also completed an internship in software development at WayCarbon and DTI Sistemas.

Elise's professional journey began with Sociaid, where they were a Co-Founder. Through their various roles and experiences, Elise has developed a strong skill set in software development, data engineering, strategy consulting, and growth marketing.

Elise Guimaraes completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Control Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais between 2012 and 2017. In 2014 and 2015, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Networks Administration and Management from the University of Portsmouth.

Additionally, Elise has obtained several certifications. In March 2021, they completed a Data Engineering Bootcamp from How Bootcamps. Also in March 2021, they became a member of the examination board for undergraduate theses at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. In February 2021, they completed the Learn Node.js Course from Codecademy. In December 2020, they completed the Introduction to Data Engineering course from DataCamp, and in November 2020, they completed the Data Engineering for Everyone course from the same institution. In June 2020, Elise obtained a C2 Proficient 88/100 - EF Set Certificate in English proficiency from EF Standard English Test (EF SET). Finally, in November 2013, they achieved a C2 Proficient level in the TOEFL exam administered by ETS.
