Arun Kumar, MBA

Arun Kumar, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

Starting in 2005, Arun worked as a Telemarketing Representative for Protocol Direct Marketing for three years. Following that, from 2009 to 2010, they worked with East York Basketball Academy, where they fulfilled various roles in Marketing, Promotions, and Coaching.

In 2010, Arun joined the University of Toronto as an Assistant Instructor for Camp U of T until 2012. During this time, they gained experience in educational instruction and management.

In 2014, Arun joined Elections Ontario as a Resource Staff / Deputy Returning Officer for a brief period of time.

Arun then transitioned into the corporate world, joining ADP in 2014 as an SBS District Manager, a role they held until 2016. Arun was responsible for managing small to mid-sized businesses, focusing on human capital management. From 2016 to 2017, Arun served as a Senior District Manager - Cross Border Specialist, where they oversaw eight District Managers and introduced team-building exercises to increase productivity. In 2017, they became a Major Accounts District Manager, working directly with mid-market companies and exceeding their annual plan in FY17.

In 2019, Arun took on the role of Private Equity Practice Lead at ADP, where they built out the Private Equity Channel program for Canada, working directly with top firms across North America.

In 2020, Arun transitioned to 7shifts: Team Management for Restaurants, serving in various roles. Arun started as a Strategic Partnerships Manager, responsible for commercializing and scaling partnerships. Arun then became a Strategic Alliances Manager, sourcing and vetting new partners and discussing API capabilities and strategic expansion. Arun was later promoted to Manager of Partnerships, overseeing a team responsible for driving partner growth and implementing initiatives, and finally served as a Senior Manager of Partnerships, managing growth and developing strategic partnerships.

Arun is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Incentivio, a position they have held since 2023.

Arun Kumar, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology and Innovation from the Ted Rogers MBA program at Toronto Metropolitan University, where they attended from 2017 to 2019. Prior to pursuing their MBA, Arun attended the University of Toronto from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a double major in Sociology and Political Science.
