James Carr, PMP has extensive work experience in the field of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and consulting. James started their career in 2000 as an Associate Developer at Nexgenix, Inc. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as a Process Consultant at MSC Software, where they implemented SmarTeam environment for customers to meet their requirements.

In 2004, James joined RAND Worldwide as a PLM Solutions Architect. James coordinated discussions with pre-sales staff, sales staff, and customers to determine project requirements and formulated proposals, work breakdown structures, and project plans. James also facilitated successful implementations of SmarTeam products to improve customer productivity and design collaboration.

In 2010, James worked at Saratech Inc as a PLM Solutions Engineer, providing pre-sales activities and customer support for Siemens Teamcenter and ENOVIA SmarTeam services. James also worked as an Independent Contractor and Owner at PLM Advantage, LLC, specializing in PDM system implementations.

From 2011 to 2012, James worked as a Visual Enterprise Application Consultant at SAP Labs, where they managed Boeing projects, gathered customer requirements, performed root cause analysis for software issues, and conducted quality assurance testing.

Since 2012, James has been working at Inceptra as a Sr. PLM Application Engineer. In this role, they collaborate with customers to understand and assess business requirements related to PLM systems. James serves as a trusted advisor, delivers presentations and software demonstrations, and formulates responses to RFPs/RFIs.
