John has a deep understanding of the tools and techniques used by hackers and has used this knowledge to develop strategies for protecting organizations from attacks. John is a recognized expert in the field of cybersecurity and has been featured in various media outlets, including The Washington Post, CNBC, and Fox News.

John Schlager has a Bachelor's of Science from University of Maryland Global Campus, summa cum laude, in CyberSecurity / Information Systems Management. John also has a diploma from LaPlata High School and certifications from ISC2 in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Checkpoint in Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) and Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer (CCSE), Cisco in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), and Microsoft in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer NT 4.0 (MCSE).
