Stelios Charalampakis

Stelios Charalampakis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of taxation. Stelios is currently serving as the Head of Tax - Europe & Africa at Inchcape plc since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Hill International, Inc. for almost 8 years as the Senior International Tax Compliance Manager, leading the tax department for their international project management portfolio across 35 countries. Stelios also had a significant stint at PwC as a Tax Manager specializing in international and Greek corporate tax, transfer pricing, tax audits, and tax planning. Stelios started their career at Ernst & Young Greece as a Senior Tax Consultant, supervising various tax advisory areas. Additionally, Stelios briefly worked as an accountant and warehouse supervisor at Plotin Chalkidikis SA and as a trainee at Eurobank EFG. Stelios also gained experience as a research associate at Research International SA. Stelios has showcased exceptional skills in effectively managing teams, generating high revenue, and achieving significant tax savings and refunds for their employers throughout their career.

Stelios Charalampakis has a diverse educational background. Stelios started by earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and Public Economics from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in 2003. In 2006, they pursued further education at Athens University of Economics and Business and obtained a Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Greek Tax Law in 2007. Moving forward, Stelios pursued a Certification for Proficiency in English from the University of Michigan in 2001. Recently, from 2020 to 2022, they attended Athens University of Economics and Business to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Executive MBA. Additionally, Stelios holds certifications such as CPA - Certified Public Accountant Class A (highest) from the Economic Chamber of Greece and ECDL Profile Certification from the ECDL Foundation.
