Andy Bates

Andy Bates has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and software development. Andy started their career in 2010 as a Configuration Management Consultant at Serena Software and NCB. Andy then worked as a CM Analyst at Citi before becoming the Director at AJB Computer Services Ltd. In 2014, they joined Capital Platforms Pte Ltd as a Software Developer and later worked as a Release Coordinator at Call Connection Ltd. Andy then transitioned to Universal Music Group as a DevOps Engineer before joining Cloudreach in 2019 as a Cloud Systems Developer.

Andy Bates obtained a BSc in Computer Science from Wolverhampton Polytechnic, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Andy later pursued Business Studies at South Nottingham College from 1990 to 1996. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science, Physics, Computer Studies, and English Language at Colchester Institute of Higher Education from 1981 to 1983. Their education began at Elmbridge School in Fyfield, Ongar, Essex, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Drawing from 1976 to 1981. In addition to their formal education, Andy obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp in June 2020.
