Jakob Hestbæk Poulsen

Jakob Hestbæk Poulsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jakob currently holds the position of Head of Software Development at InCommodities since July 2022.

Previously, Jakob worked at Centrica Energy Trading where they had multiple roles. From April 2021 to June 2022, they served as a Manager & Software Architect, where they focused on cloud-first strategy, supported UX specialists, and organized work in a virtual DevOps team. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Developer, contributing to platform development and implementing DevOps practices.

Before joining Centrica, Jakob worked at Commentor A/S as a Teamlead & Project Manager from August 2017 to March 2018, leading a team and managing a portfolio of projects. Jakob also held the position of Head of IT at Bellevue A/S from April 2017 to August 2017, where they supported the business and worked on improving existing systems.

Jakob's earlier roles include Software Architect at Commentor A/S from December 2008 to January 2015, Software Consultant at DONG Energy from September 2011 to February 2013, and Software Engineer at Conscius from November 2006 to November 2008. Jakob also worked as a Senior Consultant at Intelligent Systems A/S in February 2015 and a Software Architect at Commentor A/S from 2008 to 2015.
