Regio Michelin

Regio Michelin's work experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at InDebted starting from 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Developer and Senior Research Associate at UNSW from 2019 onwards. In this role, they proposed and coordinated technology projects between universities and industries, and also served as the lead developer for a Smart City IoT solution. They then worked as a Blockchain Engineer at ConsenSys from 2021 to 2021, where they implemented new features to the Ethereum 2.0 client Enterprise solution. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at IFRS from 2014 to 2019, leading applied research and liaising with companies and universities for software solutions. They also supervised a research group. Prior to IFRS, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Faculdades QI from 2010 to 2014. Regio Michelin also has experience as a Software Designer at Hewlett-Packard from 2007 to 2014, where they provided guidance to developers, designed and implemented features for a cloud system, and identified new change requests from major customers. They started their career as a Software Engineer at Dell Technologies from 2005 to 2007, where they designed and implemented features for internal finance and HR systems. They also deployed a solution for SKU supply chain management.

Regio Michelin's education history is as follows:

From 1999 to 2004, Regio Michelin pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.

In 2005, Regio Michelin completed a Post Graduation in Computer Science at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

Regio Michelin also obtained a certification in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 from Microsoft in December 2005.

Continuing the education journey, from 2013 to 2014, Regio Michelin pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.

The academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul from 2015 to 2019.
