Jameel Anwar

Jameel Anwar has a diverse work experience in the marketing and advertising industry. Jameel started their career in 2011 as a Senior Project Manager at Trinity Mirror Digital Recruitment, where they actively managed various technical and non-technical projects. In 2012, they worked as a Freelance Digital Program Lead at Saatchi & Saatchi, taking charge of all brand-specific digital initiatives.

Anwar then joined Adstream as a Global Account Director, where they implemented best practices and developed profitable, long-term relationships with multinational FMCG clients. Jameel later transitioned to Hogarth Worldwide as an Account Director, overseeing digital production for BI, AstraZeneca, and GroupM accounts.

In 2015, Anwar joined nitro as a Group Account Director, managing a budget of over £2 million and supervising 15-20 simultaneous projects. Jameel facilitated successful RFP analysis, contract negotiation, and vendor management while ensuring project schedules, financial reports, and team evaluations were efficiently handled. Anwar also collaborated directly with C-level and board of director personnel, achieving 30% revenue growth and increased client retention.

Anwar's next role was as a Digital Associate Director at Burson Cohn & Wolfe - Sports Practice, where they served as the client relationship lead for Pfizer Vaccines. Jameel managed multiple work-streams, including digital transformation consultation and messaging projects, as well as hiring digital marketing specialists.

Jameel then took on the position of Digital Director at Galliard, an Ashfield Health Company, where they contributed to digital strategies and execution. Anwar further advanced their career at IPG DXTRA as a Client Director, focusing on client management for a year.

Most recently, Anwar joined Fingerpaint Group as a Global Client Director, responsible for overseeing global client accounts until 2023. Jameel is currently employed at Indegene as an EUCAN Client Director starting from 2023.

Jameel Anwar obtained a Masters degree in Business IT from Royal Holloway, University of London, completing their studies from 2002 to 2003.
