Terry Lai

Terry Lai, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Corporate & IT Audit at Independence Blue Cross, leading a 25-member internal audit team and reporting directly to the Audit Committee. Previously, Terry held the position of Vice President, Head of Financial Operations at Radian, where responsibilities included overseeing procurement and vendor management, and leading efforts in internal audit strategy aligned with C-suite leadership. Prior roles at EY spanned Advisory Senior Manager and Assurance Senior Manager, focusing on optimizing internal controls and executing complex audit procedures, including for initial public offerings. Terry began a career in audit with foundational roles at EY and has early experience as a Resident Assistant at Villanova University. Terry earned a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Management from Villanova University.
