George Stanbury

George Stanbury is a seasoned campaigns professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on advocacy and engagement. Currently serving as Campaigns Manager at Independent Age since May 2022, George previously held positions at Diabetes UK, where responsibilities included senior campaigns and mobilization efforts, and at The National Autistic Society, leading initiatives such as Autism Hour, which achieved significant participation growth. With a strong educational background encompassing an MSc in Public Policy from UCL and a BA in English and Spanish from Durham University, George has also contributed to youth social action programs and has experience in tutoring and fundraising.
