Lauren Slater Goettsche

Lauren Slater Goettsche has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Lauren started their career in 2006 as a Program Assistant at Lutheran Services in Iowa, where they provided assistance, instruction, and support to individuals with disabilities. In the same year, they also worked as a Wellness Coach at the YMCA of Greater Des Moines.

In 2006, Goettsche joined the Principal Financial Group as a Mutual Fund Specialist II, a role they held until 2007. Lauren then moved on to Genworth Financial, where they worked as an Account Operations Specialist from 2007 to 2012.

From 2012 to 2018, Goettsche worked at Cetera Financial Group, starting as a Brokerage Operations Supervisor and later transitioning to the role of Operations Manager, Advisory Billing & Reporting.

In 2018, they joined RSM US LLP as a Wealth Management Senior Associate, a position they held until 2019. Lauren then moved on to Independent Financial Group, LLC, where they have held multiple roles. Lauren started as a Manager, Operations in 2019 and was promoted to Director of Operations in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Operations.

Lauren Slater Goettsche attended Iowa State University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. In addition to their academic background, they have also obtained several certifications in the financial industry, including the Series 24 General Securities Principal from FINRA in November 2019, the Series 7 General Securities Representative from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in September 2015, and the Series 99 Operations Professional from FINRA in March 2013.
