Leah Mateczun

Leah Mateczun has extensive experience in the field of healthcare coding and management, currently serving as the Manager of Coding Integrity and previously as Project Coordinator for Government Audits at Independent Health since January 2010. Prior roles include Corporate Coding Manager at Erie County Medical Center from 2007 to 2009 and Senior Consultant at Physician Advocates LLC from 2000 to 2005. Leah's expertise encompasses performing chart reviews for E/M and ICD-9-CM coding and documentation, as well as educating primary care physician offices in Western New York about coding requirements. Leah holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Health Information Management & Health Services Management from SUNY Utica/Rome and an Associate degree in Health Information Technology from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology.
