Marie Butchello

Marie Butchello is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in health care regulatory matters. As Senior Deputy Counsel at Independent Health since October 2014, Marie provides counsel on Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party payer reimbursement issues, corporate compliance, and health information privacy. Prior to this role, Marie served as an Attorney at Damon Morey, focusing on similar regulatory concerns from April 2012 to September 2014, and as an Associate at Hiscock & Barclay, LLP in the Health Care & Human Services Practice Area from April 2007 to April 2012. Marie holds a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Syracuse University.
