Peter Berdeklis

Peter Berdeklis serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Independent Trading Group (ITG), Inc., where leadership of the development team and management of IT resources occurs alongside pioneering the Ultra Low Latency trading platform, Ermez, and the DMA/CRB/algo platform, Serenity. As Managing Director at Context Switch Consulting Inc., Peter Berdeklis created statistical forecast models for quantitative asset managers, consulted hedge funds and institutional clients, and developed high-performance algorithmic trading platforms. Previous roles include Senior Portfolio Manager at Maple Securities, where strategic trading systems were implemented, and Managing Director at National Bank Financial, contributing to a proprietary trading platform. Berdeklis also held an instructor position in the Master of Mathematical Finance Program at the University of Toronto and possesses an extensive academic background with a Ph.D., MSc, and BSc in Physics from the University of Toronto.
