George Sovatzis

George Sovatzis has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. George is currently employed as a Software Engineering Manager at INDEV SOFTWARE since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a .NET Instructor at Coding School starting from January 2018. At QUALCO, they held multiple positions including Project Tech Lead from February 2020 to April 2023 and Senior Software Engineer from August 2019 to January 2020. Before that, George served as the SWORDFISH Technology Officer and Director of Software at Obrela Security Industries from October 2013 to July 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Systems Engineer at cosmoONE Hellas Marketsite from May 2005 to September 2013 and held various roles at cosmoONE Hellas Marketsite SA, including B2B Content Engineer & Trainer from February 2002 to May 2004 and Systems Administrator from August 2000 to January 2002. George also gained experience at Citi, where they worked as a PC Applications Developer from January 2000 to August 2000, Quality Team Facilitator from January 1999 to August 2000, and Y2K Project Office Assistant from September 1997 to January 2000.

George Sovatzis has a diploma in Informatics Technician from the State IEK of Ilioupoli, Athens, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they received a diploma in Computer Science (Software Analyst/Programmer) from Athens 4th Technical Lyceum from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in ASP.NET (Core) MVC, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, C#, and SQL from TestDome in September 2018.
