Steven Bliss has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Steven started their career in 1996 as an NCO and Medical Combat Advisor in the US Army, where they developed and implemented successful training programs for the Iraqi medical system. After leaving the military, Steven joined the Bayne-Jones Army community Hospital as a Department Manager, responsible for supervising practice managers and training medical officers/providers during a management culture change.
In 2010, Steven transitioned to the civilian sector and worked as a Medical Quality Assurance Specialist at QTC, where they were accountable for the timeliness and quality of medical services and reports. Steven also mentored and trained new Medical Quality Assurance Specialists.
Steven then worked at Akimeka as a Subject Matter Expert, designing state-of-the-art web-based training for medical equipment operators. Steven designed e-learning courses for nine different pieces of medical equipment.
As a Subject Matter Expert/Instructional Designer at Pelatron, Steven designed web-based training courses for deployable medical equipment operators, focusing on enhancing medical care and increasing readiness.
At Kalino LLC, Steven worked as a Content Writer, responsible for creating website and mobile application content.
Steven then joined CGI, where they held multiple roles. As a Senior Consultant, they designed and maintained the training program for the Open Payments program, receiving accolades for improving the preparedness of the help desk staff. Steven also initiated a program for professional developmental training. Additionally, Steven worked as a Content Management Technician, supporting the implementation of a comprehensive documentation program for a Help Desk team.
Most recently, Steven joined Index Analytics LLC as the Help Desk Operations Lead and Senior Customer Service representative. This is their current role.
Steven Bliss has a strong educational background in the field of business and management. In 2007, they started their education journey at Saint Joseph's College of Maine, where they earned 30 semester credits towards a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration. Steven continued their studies at the University of Phoenix from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Seeking further specialization, they pursued a Master's in Management at the University of Phoenix from 2019 to 2020.
In addition to their academic achievements, Steven obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from CGI in May 2017. This certification demonstrates their proficiency in process improvement methodologies.
