Lu Gan

Lu Gan has a diverse work history in the field of data engineering and analysis. They started their career as a Data Analyst Intern at Henan Pioneer Automation Equipment Co., Ltd in 2017. In this role, they built and maintained a remote database for a SCADA system, collected and processed data, and visualized data patterns.

In 2019, Lu Gan joined Index Exchange as a Data Engineer Intern. They were responsible for maintaining, developing, and supporting distributed data clusters based on Hadoop and MapReduce. They also monitored job scheduling and running states, wrote scripts to enhance system performance, and addressed any issues that arose.

Lu Gan quickly progressed within Index Exchange and became a Data Engineer in July 2019. They continued their work with distributed data clusters and actively contributed to production maintenance.

Lu Gan's career at Index Exchange culminated in their current role as a Data Engineer II, starting in March 2021. They are involved in data engineering projects and utilize their expertise to optimize data pipelines and systems.

Lu Gan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at China Agricultural University from 2012 to 2016. Later, they pursued their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto from 2016 to 2018.
