Shahbaz Russel

Shahbaz Russel has a strong background in risk management and collateral policy. Shahbaz began their career as a Civil Engineer at ITD Cementation India Ltd in 2011. Shahbaz then joined HDFC Limited as a Senior Officer in 2012, before being promoted to Assistant Manager in 2015. In 2017, they moved to TATA Capital Housing Finance Ltd as the Technical Head for North India, where they focused on hiring and training teams and managing in-house valuations. In 2018, Shahbaz joined India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation - IMGC as the Chief Risk Manager, responsible for developing and managing the collateral policy framework, automation processes, and market trend analysis. Shahbaz also mentored and guided teams, and monitored and managed sub-prime collaterals.

Shahbaz Russel earned a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Agartala, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011.
