Mehul Bakhshi

Mehul Bakhshi is currently serving as a Kotak-IISc Predoctoral Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), focusing on enhancing the accuracy of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solutions through target-based adaptive meshes, which involves computationally intensive adjoint solutions. Previously, Mehul worked as a Project Associate, engaged in metric-based anisotropic mesh adaptation for rotor flow and hypersonic cases, and gained experience in high-performance computing. During a mechanical engineering internship at SVURG Digital System Solutions, Mehul conducted numerical simulations on wind turbines for optimized efficiency. Mehul's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, along with internships and research experiences related to multiphase flow and IC engine dynamics. Leadership roles in the BitsGoaRacing team included positions as Team Captain and Suspension Engineer.
