Michael Staudt

Michael Staudt currently serves as the Geographic Information Systems Manager for the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners since October 2021. Prior experience includes a nearly two-decade tenure as a Geologist and Senior Researcher at the Geological Survey of Finland from July 2003 to December 2022 and a brief internship at Landesamt für Geologie, Rohstoffe und Bergbau in May 2003. Early career experience includes a role as a Geologist at Dr. Eisele and IUT GmbH Kirchzarten, where responsibilities involved monitoring water supply tests and geotechnical evaluations. Michael Staudt is pursuing a PhD in Engineering Geology and Geoinformatics at Aalto University, building on an MSc in Hydrogeology from the University of Tübingen and a Diplom-Geologe from The University of Freiburg.
