Stephanny Smith

Stephanny Smith has a diverse work experience that spans various sectors. Stephanny is currently working as the Director of Corporate Communications at Indiana Michigan Power since 2022. Prior to this, they held a leadership position as the Director of Communications at Allen County Public Library from 2017 to 2022, where they successfully managed a team and implemented strategic initiatives to promote the organization. From 2009 to 2016, Stephanny served as the Director of Philanthropic Development at PARKVIEW FOUNDATION, where they played a crucial role in increasing donor relations and advancing giving opportunities. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Corporate Relations Specialist at the American Cancer Society, managing a portfolio of national and regional employers.

Stephanny Smith holds a Master's degree in Public Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in General Studies, both from Indiana University-IPFW. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Developing Annual Sustainability and Developing Major Gifts from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Stephanny also completed the Leadership Communication Certificate Program and the Reputation Management Certificate Program from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
