Andrew McFarland

Andrew McFarland serves as the Director of IU Online Collaborative History Degrees and Chair of the History, Political Science, and Philosophy department at Indiana University Kokomo since August 2007. McFarland also holds the position of Associate Professor of History and serves as the Program Coordinator for History and Political Science, as well as a Pre-Law Adviser. Prior to this, McFarland was a Visiting Assistant Professor of History at Drake University from August 2005 to May 2007 and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of History at Gettysburg College from August 2004 to May 2005. McFarland earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Modern Spanish History and the History of Sport from The University of Texas at Austin between 1997 and 2004, and holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History and Geography from the University of Delaware.
