Karen Moratz

Karen Moratz is an accomplished author, musician, and yoga instructor with extensive experience in the arts and wellness sectors. Serving as the Principal Flute for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra since March 1989 and maintaining a position as Artist in Residence at Butler University, Karen has a strong background in music performance. An author of "Flute For Dummies," Karen also teaches Hatha Flow and Hatha Yoga classes at various studios while offering innovative musical products through Karen Evans Moratz LLC. Academically, Karen holds a Master's degree in Music/Orchestral Performance from Hochschule fuer Musik Freiburg im Breisgau and a Bachelor's degree in Music/Performance from Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, complemented by a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification from Cityoga School of Yoga and Health.
