Nick Esparza has worked in a variety of roles in the technology and gaming industries. In 2022, they began working as a Solutions Engineer at Indico Data, a company that transforms unstructured data into actionable insights. Nick also began working as a Software Engineering Fellow at General Assembly. In 2017, they began working at Dell Technologies as a Senior Learning Enablement Specialist, where they developed learning experiences to exceed professional development goals for global audiences. Nick also worked as a Program Management Consultant, where they formulated content strategies for the Finance Learning & Development team. In 2015, they began working as a QA Analyst at Bluepoint Games, where they managed databases and suggested process improvements to management. In 2013, they worked as an Animator at Young Horses Games, where they created a large number of animation assets for a successful independent video game. Finally, in 2011, they began working at The Walt Disney Company as a Production Coordinator.

Nick Esparza received their Bachelor of Science in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics and Special Effects from DePaul University in 2011. In 2014-2015, they completed a Post-Baccalaureate Certification from The University of Texas at Austin's Denius-Sams Gaming Academy. In 2019, they obtained two additional certifications from LinkedIn: Virtual Reality Foundations and Strategic Thinking. Nick is currently enrolled in General Assembly for a Computer Software Engineering program, set to complete in 2022.
